On Sunday, May 21st I was in Parkland at the Parkland Golf and Country Club for the wedding ceremony and reception of Leeann and Jonathan. The ceremony took place shortly after 11am on a beautiful lawn with a fountain backdrop. Jonathan walked down the aisle with his mother to Canon in D by Brooklyn Duo followed by Leeann who walked down with her father to Thinking Out Loud by The Piano Guys. The reception was held in the main ballroom room brought to life by blush up lighting from Eddie B and Company. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand as we welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Rivas to Forever by Chris Brown. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett. Leeann then joined her father for their father daughter dance to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion before Jonathan danced with his mother to Amor de Madre by Victor Manuelle. During dinner, I played some pop covers while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, we kicked the party off with a very entertaining bouquet toss by Leeann, who tossed her bouquet to a group of single ladies as I played Pretty Girl Rock by Keri Hilson. The rest of the night was a party with an eclectic mix of pop, latin, and other party favorites for all the guests to enjoy. Once the guests were on the floor they did not want to leave. Thank you Jonathan and Leeann for allowing me to be a part of your special day. You were an awesome crowd and it was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. Best of luck to you - DJ ELOW
