Amanda and Anthony Roden celebrated their dream wedding at the Parkland Country Club in Parkland, FL on 12/16/2023. This wedding had it all!! The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 100 guests were invited to the country club for the cocktail hour and reception. The cocktail hour music was provided by our very own Stewy Blue as all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, the Sparktakular Cold Sparks effect, the cumulus cloud effect and a monogram (with their names and the date) all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Amanda chose I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas as the intro song for the bridal party and Gonna Make You Sweat by C&C Music Factory for her and Anthony's intro. The first dance was to Making Memories Of Us by Keith Urban then Amanda danced with her dad to I Love Her First by Heartland and Anthony danced with his mom to I Will Always Love You by W. Houston. All of the guests found their seats and prepare for a 3 course meal. The toast was given by Andrew (BM) and the reception was in full swing. Amanda did not provide me with a play list because she has seen me in action before. She did ask me to play to the crowd and to have fun. Well I certainly did that evening and as soon as dinner was over the dance floor was the place to be. I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites, country classics, 80s and 90s dance hits and oldies. Perfect mix of genres for this very electric group of guests. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed and I also took requests for a few country/couples dances. At the end of the reception I asked all of the guests to line up outside for the sparkler send-off as Amanda and Anthony had a private dance to Tequila Little Time by Jon Pardi. PRICELESS!!
Congrats to Amanda, Anthony and the entire Roden and Cuomo families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Parkland C.C. for always providing excellent service.
