Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this week's installment of the Wedding Blog. Our episode brings us to a wonderful evening in Jupiter. Tommy and Jennifer were supposed to have their wedding back in April, but because of our friend COVID, that was postponed. They had a wonderful idea and rented an AirB&B home in Jupiter Farms! Lots of land and wonderful vistas. The temperature was crisp that evening. A welcomed difference from the typical Florida humidity! As the guests gathered for the ceremony, I was asked to play some special requests given to me by Tommy.
Then Jennifer walked down the grass to the front of the gazebo. She looked wonderful! The ceremony was performed by a very close friend, so it was really a special one.
Once the ceremony ended, I asked everyone to the driveway for the cocktail hour. It was decorated really wonderfully. The area had a big tent and lots of seating. There was even a big dance floor!
Once the guests finished enjoying some time together, I invited them to take their seats. I then proceeded to do the grand entrance of the bridal party. I then introduced Tommy and Jennifer. The guests erupted with applause! Now I played their first dance "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison. Then I asked Jennife to dance with her dad. They chose "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. After that I invited Tommy to dance with mom. They asked me to play "THe Wonder Of You" by Elvis Presley. During this song, I invited all of the guests to dance.
We danced another fun song and then I sat everyone down. That is when they opened the serving stations for dinner. Once dinner ended, I got the guests dancing! It was a young group, so I played a lot of modern songs, however I have to say that the classics really got them up and dancing. There was no cake cutting or garter / bouquet throw. Just a really fun party....
Congrats to Tommy and Jennifer!
