Kaycia and Richie Rossi celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/8/2024. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 80 guests were invited to the Riverside for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites at the cocktail hour while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless, up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Kaycia chose Robot Rock by Daft Punk as the intro song for the bridal party and Move Your Feet by Junior for her and Richie's intro. The first dance was to Can't Help Falling In Love sung by Uncle Chuck then Kaycia danced with her dad to In My Life by The Beatles and Richie danced with his mom to God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Uncle Chuck gave the blessing of the meals then during dinner the toasts were given by Gracie (MOH) and Nathan (BM). After dinner the dance floor opened up and it became a non-stop dancing party till the end. We did have a cake cutting ceremony along with requests for some of the newer country line dances. The mix of top 40, country, alternative and 90s jams were perfect for this group of guests. The fun continued to the end and as I played Something by The Beatles, all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple.
Congrats to Kaycia, Richie and the entire Rossi and Voorman families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Riverside Hotel for always providing excellent service.
