On Saturday September 24th, 2011 I played for Danielle and Andy Lindquist and 104 friends and family members at Royal Fiesta Caterers in Deerfield Beach. During the cocktail hour I sensed a real party buzz as guests mingled and enjoyed adult contemporary music fro the 60's to the 90's. They were even dancing, which doesn't happen that often. When I introduced the bridal party it sounded like 500 people were in the room, and when Danielle and Andy made their grand entrance to a standing ovation I knew this was going to be a great night! Their first dance was "Marry Me" by Train. Later Danielle danced with her father Domenic to "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman, and Andy danced with his mother to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Domenic also gave a very heart warming toast in honor of the newlyweds. Between the salad and main course I had a packed dance floor, and they didn't want sit down when I announced the main course. I played everything from doo wop to classic rock, hip hop, disco, swing, top 40 club hits and a few classic ballads. For the cake cutting the newlyweds chose L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole and the garter/bouquet was a varitey of tunes. This was one memorable celebration and I enjoyed it just as much as Danielle and Andy did. Also two thumbs up to Rob and his staff at Royal Fiesta for a first class presentation.....The newlyweds are off to Orlando to visit all the attractions.....Thanx DJ/MC Eddie B!
