Inge and Steven Rogers celebrated their wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton, FL on 11/16/2015. The festivities began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the Addison, then the cocktail hour (also outdoors) by the fountain. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while the approximate 50 guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited into the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. Inge and Steve chose Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap as their entrance song. The first dance was to The Luckiest by Ben Folds Five then Inge danced with her dad to Lady In Red by C. De Burgh and Steven danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by L. Womack. As all of the guests settled in for a 3 course meal, Brenna (maid of honor) and Brian (best man) gave the toasts. Inge's dad Mr. Frank gave the welcoming speech and thanked everyone for attending his daughter and new son-in-laws big day. Inge did provide me with an excellent play list that included top 40, r&b, soul, disco and classic oldies. During dinner I played a few easy listening tunes and got plenty of compliments for my song choices. After dinner the dance floor opened up for some dancing/fun but the highlight of the evening was when Inge's dad Mr. Frank sang The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra. Prior to the wedding Inge sent me (via e-mail) the instrumental track for this song and her dad nailed it that evening!! The cake cutting ceremony was performed as the night progressed but there was no garter/bouquet toss. Before all of the guests were directed to the courtyard for the sparkler send off, I played one more special song. Steven requested Blue Bird of Happiness by Jan Peerce for his grandma Ruth. This is a special song that Steven dedicated and danced with her as the last song....PRICELESS!!! Great way to end an amazing Monday night wedding! Congrats to Inge, Steve and the entire Rogers and Frank families. Special thanks to the staff at the Addison for always provided 5 STAR service!!
