Wedding Reception at The Addison

Helen and Alejandro Pabon celebrated their wedding at the Addison of Boca Raton, FL on 12/3/2023.  Approximately 120 close friends and family members arrived to the Addison that Sunday early evening and were directed to the ceremony in the courtyard.  The cocktail hour also took place in the courtyard and as Helen and Alejandro post for pictures with immediate family members, all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of smooth jazz tunes and also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Held chose Pa'Maite by Carlos Vives for the parents intros, Daft Punk Is Playing at My House by LCD for the bridal party intros and One More Time by Daft Punk for her and Alejandro's intro.  The first dance was to Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis then Alejandro danced with his mom to Para Tu Amor by Juanes.  The toasts were given by Lily (MOH) and Evan (BM) then both dad's gave the welcoming speeches.  The first of a 4 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way.  Alejandro did provide me with a play list that included top 40, heavy latin favorites, EDM and 90s and 2000s dance hits.  The energy on the dance floor, after dinner was contagious! They filled up the dance floor very quickly and only took a pause for the cake cutting ceremony and the bouquet toss (no garter).  Both families blended perfectly as the evening progressed and the bubbly flowed.  The closing song for the evening was Santo Cachon by Embajadores as everyone danced their way out to the courtyard for a sparkler send-off.
