Wedding Reception at the Addison

Kristen and Andre Rodriguez celebrated their wedding at the Addison of Boca Raton, FL on 11/8/2019.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 130 guests were invited to the Addison for the cocktail hour and reception.  I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Kristen chose Move Your Feet by DJ Ross for the parents and grandparents intros, It's Tricky by Run DMC for the bridal party intros and Love On Top by Beyonce for her and Andre's intro.  The first dance was to Speechless by Dan + Shay and Kristen's dad Tommie played the acoustic guitar over the track.  Then Kristen danced with her dad (Ozzie) to Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel by Tavares also with her dad (Tommie) to I'll Be Your Man by Zac Brown Band then Andre danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown.  The toasts were given by Carli and Haley (maids of honor) and Johnathan (best man) then Tommie and Olga (bride's parents) gave the welcoming speech.  The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was under way.  Kristen did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, club jams, oldies and classic rock.  Perfect mix for this very excited/energetic group of guests.  The dance floor filled up quickly after the main course and it was rockin' all night!!  The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed and I also took some requests for the newer group dances and a few couples songs.  The closing song for the evening was Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple.

Congrats to Kristen, Andre and the entire Rodriguez, Orta and Brent families.
