Wedding Reception at The Addison

Sylvia and Jimmy Barra celebrated their wedding at the Addison of Boca Raton, FL on 8/27/2021.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Addison for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour, myself and Lindsay decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the date and our signature "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Sylvia chose Fantasy by Mariah Carey as the intro song for the bridal party and for her and Jimmy.  The first dance was to Just To See You Smile by Tim McGraw then Sylvia danced with her mom and her Uncle Lawrence to You're The Inspiration by Chicago and Jimmy danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  The toasts were given by Karen (matron of honor), Lorraine (maid of honor) and Bobby (best man).  Jimmy's mom gave the blessing of the meals then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Jimmy did provide me with a short play list and asked me to have fun with his guests.  I played a mix of top 40, classic r&b, Motown and country favorites.  Great mix of genres for this very fun/electric group of guests.   The happy couple did perform their cake cutting ceremony and had a garter/bouquet toss as the evening progressed.  For the grand finale all of the guests gathered for a sparkler send-of as I played Live Your Life by Rhianna.
