Wedding Reception at The Addison

On Sunday, January 15th I was in Boca Raton, FL at The Addison for the wedding ceremony and reception of Joe and Kate. The ceremony took place around 6:00pm, under two large fig trees that draped over the guests. Joe walked down the aisle with his parents to Just the Way You Are by Vitamin String Quartet. The officiant then asked everyone to stand as we all watched Kate walk down to Can’t Help falling in Love by Vitamin String Quartet. The ceremony concluded with a kiss as everyone cheered and the newlyweds celebrated down the aisle together as husband and wife to Marry You by Bruno Mars. The reception area was held in the Main Private Dining Room with white linens and 20 LED up lights set to amber and a Mobi Booth Photo Booth, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Barrena to Bring Em Out by T.I.. Joe and Kate then embraced each other for their first dance to Taylor Swift - Lover (First Dance Remix). After the first dance I invited Kate’s father to join his daughter for their father daughter dance to Daddy’s Little Girl by Al Martino followed by Joe and his mother for their mother son dance to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuelle. During dinner, I played a some Salsa and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, the newlyweds cut their lavish wedding cake to Cake by Flo Rida. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of latin, house, hip hop, and current dance music favorites for all the guests to enjoy. The last song of the evening was a private dance for the newlyweds to From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay, as Mr. and Mrs. Barrena danced together in an empty room while they took in one final moment together before their sparkler stick sendoff.
