On Jan.6th,2013 Keon & Nina Salmon celebrated their wedding reception in the Pent House at the B-Ocean in Ft.Lauderdale.This was my 3rd wedding with this family, twice as a Sunday afternoon brunch. This small family & guests enjoyed the beach view as steel drums played in the background. I introduced the wedding party to "Taboo" by Don Omar. The happy couple went into their first dance to "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx. Then the groom danced with his mother to "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" by Stevie Wonder. Once everyone was seated, it was an open mic for toasts and a few did so. After a blessing of the meal it was brunch time as I played a mix of Reggae and American love songs. I got the crowd dancing after to a mix of 70/80/90 pop/dance/r&b till the cutting of the cake. The song of choice was "L.O.V.E." by Nat King Cole, then it was back to dancing to the sounds of today's Top 40...Latin...line dances and Reggae (groom was Jamaican). The theme of this wedding was for Nina..."From Russia With Love"...and alot of love in this family, I felt part of it. I hope to see many more...Best Wishes to Keon & Nina...Thanks Roberto (D.J./M.C.
