Wedding Reception at the B Ocean Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale

Brooke and Luke Clement celebrated their wedding at the B Ocean Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/18/2024.  The ceremony which was held on the first floor was attended by approximately 70 close friends and family members.  After they witnessed a perfect ceremony they were all invited to the cocktail hour and reception on the 2nd floor.  I played a mix of easy listening tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up Brooke and Luke for the grand entrance.  They used Power of Love by Huey Lewis as the intro song then went right into Let's Stay Together by Al Green for the first dance.  Brooke then danced with her dad to Seasons In The Sun by Terry Jack and Luke danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by Leeann Womack.  The toasts were given by Meagan and Shelby (BMs) and Alex (BM) then everyone found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner.  Brooke did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, EDM and a few country tunes.  Great mix of genres for this very fun group of guests.  The cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss) was performed as the evening progressed but the dance floor was the place to be.  The closing song for the evening was Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that was how this amazing wedding came to a close.
