Wedding & Reception at the Bahia Mar

Karen and David Gallaher celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/5/2019.  The outdoor ceremony took place at the garden over-looking the inter-coastal water ways.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed a very beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the 2nd floor of the hotel for the cocktail hour and reception.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  When the ballroom was ready they were all invited to enter and prepare for the grand entrance.  Karen and David did not have an intro song but they did go straight into their first dance which was Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Beyonce then Karen danced with her dad to The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra.  The toasts were given by Kim (maid of honor) and Robbie (best man) then Rev. Gallaher gave the blessing of the meals.  A brunch buffet was ready for all to enjoy and the reception was under way.  Karen did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country and oldies.  There was no garter/bouquet toss that afternoon but the happy couple did cut their beautiful wedding cake. The closing song that was requested was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a nice Sunday afternoon wedding.  Congrats to the Karen, David and the entire Gallaher and Manno families.
