On 11/6/2011 Zack and Joelle Pappas celebrated their wedding at Bahia Mar, Ft. Lauderdale in grand fashion. This was one of the craziest weddings I have worked. It began with an in-door cocktail hour where the guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks as Zack and Joelle took pictures on the beach along with the bridal party. After the cocktail hour it was time for the grand entrance. As the guests sat at their tables I lined up the 24 person bridal party. They were very exited about being able to walk in with drinks in hand. The parents intro song was Get The Party Started by Pink, the bridal party intro song was Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf and the bride and groom walked in to Forever by Chris Brown. As a surprise for the guests Zack and Joelle requested that I play Shout by the Isley Brothers before the first dance. As you can imagine everyone was on the dance floor jumping and SHOUTING!!! Then they went into the first dance which was Everything by Michael Buble. The toasts were given by Francesca (maid of honor/Joelle's sister) and David (best man/best friend). They wanted to hold off on the parents dances until after dinner. As salads and main course was served Zack chose a great selection of oldies and country hits for the guests to enjoy. Joelle danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Zack danced with his mom to The Man You've Become by Molly Pasutti. That was the ice breaker because after those dances the party jump to another level. Again Joelle and Zack provided me with a list of their favorite tunes and I played them where I felt appropriate. It worked like a charm. The top songs on the list were: YMCA, Oops I Did It Again, Danza Kuduro, Caballo Viejo and I Will Survive. After the anniversary dance, cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss it was back to the dance floor. I must say the highlight of the evening was when Zach and all of his buddies got on one knee and sang You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling by Hall and Oates to Joelle right before Zach removed the garter. It was classic!! The last song for the evening was Kiss Me I'm
S*#@faced by Drop Kick Murphys which had everyone in a big circle on the floor. Congrats to Zack and Joelle and all of the FSU alumni that was present!! You guys know how to party!!
