Wedding Reception at The Bahia Mar Resort

Nick and Vina Milburn celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on 11/15/2025. The ceremony took place at at nearby church then all of the approximate 60 guests were invited to the venue for the cocktail hour and reception. Nick provided me with a Spotify play list for the cocktail hour that I played while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, 2 Sparktakular Cold Spark effects and the Cumulous Cloud effect all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Both sets of parents entered to Celebration by Kool & The Gang, the bridal party entered to Fireball by Pitbul and Nick and Vina entered to Low by Flo-Rida. The first dance was to One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston then Vina danced with her dad to My Girl by The Temptations. As a surprise, Vina and her bridesmaids danced to a choreographed version of Pretty Girl Rock by Keri Hilson. Oscar Ranchez gave the blessing of the meals then everyone found their seats. During dinner the toasts were given by Via and Vanessa (brides sisters) and by Steven (BM) then Vina's parents thanked everyone for attending. The dance floor filled up very quickly after dinner. They danced to most of the group dances such as The Cupid Shuffle, The Macarena and the Cha Cha Slide...plus many more. As the evening progressed we did take a small break for the cake cutting ceremony and the bouquet toss (no garter). The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor one more time.
