Wedding Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort
Brittany and Carlos Zapata celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/22/2025. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the intercostal waterways. Approximately 85 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical/easy listening tunes while they all mingled and posed for pictures with Brittany and Carlos. Myself and Leonard took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their names and the date) and our "Open Air" Photo Booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests made their way into the ballroom, I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Brittany chose Celebration by Kool & The Gang for the parent's intros, Yellow Claw for the bridesmaid's intros, Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the groomsmen intros and Angrybaby Mash-Up for her and Carlos' intro. The first dance was to Waiting For You by Russel Dickerson then Brittany danced with her dad to Sweet Child O'Mine by Brent Morgan and Carlos danced with his mom to Forever Young by Rod Stewart. Donald (FOB) gave the blessing of the meals and everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. During dinner, the toasts were given by Callie (MOH), Catherine (Matron OH), Zack (BM) and Donald (FOB). The reception was officially in full swing and after everyone enjoyed an amazing dinner the dance floor opened up for a little dancing fun. Brittany provided me with a playlist that included top 40, classic rock and heavy EDM tracks. Amazing energy all night long by this fine group of partiers and as the evening progressed I took plenty of requests for some of the more popular group dances. The cake cutting ceremony also took place while we were all in the moment and the Photo Booth was in high demand. The closing song for the evening was Crystallized by John Summit and that put a bow on a fabulous Saturday night wedding.
