Wedding & Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort

Andrea and David Sim celebrated their dream wedding at the Bahia Mar in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/15/2019.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Bahia Mar for the cocktail hour and reception.  When all of the guests arrived they were greeted with drinks, appetizers and a mix of tropical tunes at the cocktail hour.  Myself and Chris took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, our signature Cumulus cloud effect and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Andrea chose a separate song for all of the bridal party couples intros and My Boo by Ghost Town DJs for her and David's intro.  The first dance was to Falling In Love With You by Kina Grannis then Andrea danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Jermaine Paul and David danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion.  The toasts were given by Kadene (maid of honor), Kristen (matron of honor) and Teo (best man) then Andrea's dad Mr. Deonarine gave the welcoming speech and a prayer before the meals.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 4 course meal.  Andrea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, latin favorites, reggae and soca.  Great mix of genres for this group of fun/energetic guests.  They filled the dance floor very quickly and only took a break for the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss.  The last song for the evening was Marry You by Bruno Mars and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night Bahia Mar wedding!!
