Wedding Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort

Taylor and Silver Saunders celebrated their dream wedding at the Bahia Mar Marina and Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/19/2021.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Bahia Mar for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights provided by Eddie B & Company.  When it was time for the grand entrance I lined up the 13 member bridal party while all of the guests found their seats.  Taylor chose Crazy In Love by Beyonce for the bridal party intros and This Will Be by Natalie Cole for her and Silver's intro.  The first dance was to One In A Million by Larry Graham then Taylor danced with her dad to Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles and with her mom to Love Of My Life by Carey Simon.  Silver also danced with his mom to Three Times A Lady by The Commodores.  The toasts were given by Golden (best man) and Tara (maid of honor) then Mr. Grippo (F.O.B.) gave the welcoming speech.  The first of a 3 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way.  Taylor did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, classic hip-hop and r&b and Motown.  Great mix of genres for this very excited group of guests.  The dance floor filled up very quickly and they danced non-stop until the cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss.  I did take a few requests for couples and group dances as the evening progressed.  The closing song for the evening was Beyond by Leon Bridges which was a special song requested by the happy couple.
