Wedding Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort

Glenis and Asfar Rehan celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/29/2022.  This wedding had it all!!

The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 320 guests were invited to the Bahia Mar for the cocktail hour and reception.  Myself and Natalia decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a customized monogram (gobo), the Sparktacular Cold Sparks, LED tumbling Dice effect lighting and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 36 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Glenis chose The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson for the parents intros, Gasolina by Daddy Yankee for the bridal party intros and Low by FloRida for her and Asfar's intro.  The first dance was to My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion then Glenis danced with her dad and Asfar danced with his mom to 2 Hindi songs that were downloaded before the event.  There were several toasts/speeches and 5 musical/dance performances by different family members during the meals.  The dance floor opened up after dinner and they danced non-stop for the rest of the evening.  I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites and Ballywood/Hindu/Indie dance favorites.  What a magical evening for Glenis and Asfar!!  As the evening came to a close they both thanked all of the remaining guests and they gathered on the dance floor one last time for the last song which was We Are Young by F.U.N.   PRICELESS!!!!
