Wedding Reception at The Bent Hotel
I DJed the Wedding of Nicole and Matthew Fearn on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at The BEN Autograph Collection Hotel in West Palm Beach. The BEN is a classic estate in West Palm Beach that was turned into a hotel and a beautiful venue for weddings. As the guests arrived for the ceremony I played classics from Etta James, currents from Ed Sheeran and violin and piano covers of classic wedding songs. The bridal party walked down the aisle to the violin version of Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Next, Nicole walked down the aisle escorted by her father to the Daniel Jang version of Stay with Me by Sam Smith. After a beautiful ceremony the couple were pronounced husband and wife and I played the violin cover of Maroon 5 - What Lovers Do.
For cocktail hour, Eddie B saxophone player Stewie Blue played all the classics and entertained the guests! He was a huge hit! Next the dining room opened up and the guests took their seats. I played classics from Frank Sinatra, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Sam Smith and Ray Lamontange. I introduced Nicole and Matthew to TI - Bring Em Out as "Mr and Mrs Mattew Fearn!" Next the couple had their first dance to Franki Valli - Can't Take My Eyes off You. Next Nicole danced with her father to Tim McGraw - My Little Girl. Next Matthew danced with his mom to Tony Becker - Dance with me Baby. After that, Matthew's mother Amy gave a toast, then Nicole welcomed all the guests and presented her bouquet to her mother. It was a very special moment.
After dinner the party got wild! I played an EDM set with music from Acraze, Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclar and Steve Aoki. The dancing was intense and the guests were having a blast. I played a set from Beatie Boys, the Killers, and Blink 182. I played classics like Sweet Caroline, You Shook Me All Night Long, September, and Come On Aileen. I played Party Rock Anthem, Get Low and Teach Me How To Dougie. We ended the night with Journey - Don't Stop Believing. This was a fun wedding to DJ and I wish Nicole and Matthew the best!
