Wedding Reception at the Boca Beach Club

Katie and David Houle celebrated their dream wedding at the Boca Beach Club in Boca Raton, FL on 4/4/2015.  This was an amazing wedding that began with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on a perfect Saturday late afternoon.  As Kate walked down the isle with her father, the look on David's face was priceless.  After they tied the knot, all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour while Katie and David posed for pictures.  Myself and Jerry took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 light blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a 55" plasma screen for a photo montage all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the 80 guests settled into their seats at the reception I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance.  Katie chose Celebration by Kool and the Gang for the parents intros, Good Feeling by FloRida for the bridal party and Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO for her and David's intros.  The first dance was to After All by Peter Cetera then Katie danced with her dad to My Girl by The Temptations and David danced with his mom to Stand By Me by Ben E. King.  The toasts were given by Jackie (maid of honor) and Dan (best man) then Katie's dad Mr.Britto gave a welcoming speech and thanked everyone for attending her daughter and son-in-law's big day.  The first of a three course meal was served and the reception was under way.  Katie and David did provide me with a small play list and left the rest of the music selections up to me.  After dinner the dance floor filled up quickly as I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, disco, 90's hip-hop and r&b.  I loved this energetic group as they danced to all of the hits.  David warned me that his guests were going to pack the dance floor...he wasn't kidding.  As the night progressed I did take a few requests for the group dances and some country dance hits then it was time for the cake cutting.  After the cake cutting we did have a garter/bouquet toss and an anniversary dance which everyone enjoyed.  As the evening came to a close I played I've Had The Time Of My Life from The Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and all of the remaining guests made a circle around the happy couple to give them a well deserved send off.  Congrats to Katie, David and the entire Houle and Britto families.  Special thanks to the staff at the Boca Beach Club...it's been a while since I worked there!  Spectacular venue!!
