Wedding Reception at the Boca Pointe Country Club
Jennifer and Michael Schmidt celebrated their wedding at the Boca Pointe Country Club in Boca Raton, FL on 11/21/2015. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the C.C. for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests arrived they were greeted with drinks, appetizers and a mix of Rat Pack favorite tunes. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, colored, LED, wireless uplights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. When the cocktail hour was over, all of the guests were invited into the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. I lined up the 12 member bridal party as the guests found their seats and we were ready to go. Jennifer chose Feel The Love by Rudimental for the bridal party entrance and My Blood by Ellie Goulding for her and Michael's entrance. The first dance was to Come Away With Me by Norah Jones then Jennifer danced with her dad to Daughters by John Mayer and Michael danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The toasts were given by Allison (maid of honor) and Andrew (best man) then Jennifer's dad Mr. Bajger gave the welcoming speech and thanked everyone for attending. The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing. Jennifer did provide me with a play list that included top 40, alternative, EDM, old school and 80's dance hits. I had a blast that evening watching all of the guests dance the night away. The mix of genres was perfect for this group. They also requested a few group dances as the dance floor remained packed all night. The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss were performed as the night progressed but that dance floor was the place to be. As the evening came to a close, Michael requested that I play Dirty Bit by The Black Eyed Peas and Closing Time by SemiSonic. Two excellent songs to close out an excellent wedding!!!
