Chelsea and David Swait celebrated their wedding at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa in Weston, FL on 3/25/2017. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Resort for the cocktail hour and reception. During the cocktail hour I played a mix of easy listening tunes while everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Chelsea chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance and DJ Got Us Falling In Love by Usher for her and David's entrance. The first dance was to From The Group Up by Dan + Shay then Chelsea danced with her dad to Daddy Dance With Me by Krystal Keith and David danced with his mom to First Lady In My Life by Paul Todd. The toasts were given by Diego (best man), Steven (groomsman) and Ashley (maid of honor). The welcoming speeches were given by Chelsea's parents and David's mom Tracy Swait. David and Chelsea also thanked everyone for attending their special day! The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was under way. Chelsea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, classic rock, oldies and group/line dance songs. After dinner the dance floor opened up for dancing/fun and boy did this group have a blast. They danced to all of the genres I played that night and even requested more group dances. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss was performed as the night progressed. Chelsea and David surprised everyone by playing the shoe game...this was hilarious!!!! For the closing song David chose Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a cap on an amazing wedding. Congrats to Chelsea, David and the entire Swait and Yen families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa for their attention to detail!!
