On Saturday February 16th, 2013 I played for Alexandra and Steve Bussa and 80 family members and friends at the historic Bonnet House on a cool and crisp winter evening. For the ceremony and cocktail hour music was provided by a string quartet. I started by introducing the bridal party to " I Gotta Feeling" and from there we went right into the toasts and dinner. After a delicious buffet prepared and presented by CA catering, Ali and Steve danced to "Let It Be Me" by Ray Lamontage for their first dance. Ali then danced with her father Peter to "You Are My Sunshine" by Carly Simon and Steve danced with his mother in law Melissa to "Wonderful World" by Louie Armstrong. The cake was cut to "How Sweet It Is" and later Steve removed the garter to "Lets Get It On" by Marvin Gaye. Ali tossed her bouquet to "Girls Just wanna Have Fun" and Steve tossed the garter to "Sharp Dressed Man". I started the dancing with some classic disco by Barry White, The Bee Gees, and Michael Jackson and mixed in some Motown and retro 80's music. The last hour was pumpin' with todays club hits and the dance floor rolled right up to the last song "Save The Last Dance For Me" by Michael Buble. I want to say hats off to Nicole and her staff at the Bonnet House and Marta and her staff from CA catering for another First Class presentation! Congrats and all the best to Ali and Steve, they will be off to Saint Lucia for their honeymoon! DJ/MC Eddie B!
