Wedding reception at the Bonnet House
Anne and Adrian Mesa celebrated their wedding at the Historic Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 11/30/2025. Approximately 60 close friends and family members arrived to the Bonnet House that Sunday late afternoon and witnessed a beautiful ceremony overlooking the pond. They were all then invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers while Anne and Adrian posed for pictures with immediate family members. As all of the guests entered the reception tent and found their seats I lined up Anne and Adrian for the grand entrance. They chose Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift as the intro song then they went right into their first dance which was Night Swimming by R.E.M. The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy as I released the tables by numbers. Adrian did provide me with a play list that included top 40, alternative dance hits and oldies. The dance floor opened up after dinner and they danced the night away until the end. There were no parents dances, cake cutting or garter/bouquet toss just good clean fun had by all as the evening progressed. The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a fabulous Sunday night wedding.
