On Saturday, February 11th I was at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the wedding reception of Meredith and Dustin. The ceremony took place at 5:30pm overlooking the beautiful gardens, just as the sun was setting. The reception was held under a large transparent tent decorated with white linens and blush colored LED up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions I invited the bridal party to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Vance to Love Train by The O’Jays. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to Lover (First Dance Remix) by Taylor Swift. During dinner, I played a some classic jazz while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, I directed everyone’s attention to the wedding cake to watch the newlyweds cut into a lovely 3 tiered masterpiece, while we all sang Grow Old with You by Adam Sandler. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, country, and party favorites for all the guests to dance to. Thank you Dustin and Meredith for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. - DJ ELOW
