Carolina & Edward Drislane celebrated their wedding at the Historical Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/11/2023. This amazing wedding began with a ceremony at the gratto, that is where approximately 120 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The cocktail hour took place immediately after the ceremony in the courtyard area. All of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes. Brandon (our Photo Booth operator) arrived early and set-up the "Open Air" photo booth for all to enjoy. As all of the guests entered the reception area and found their seats, Carolina and Edward had their grand entrance to Marry You by Bruno Mars. The first dance was to I Like Me Better by Lauv then Carolina danced with her dad and Edward danced with his mom to Stand By Me by Ben E. King. The toasts were given by MongMong (best friend), Catherine and Helen (Edward's sisters) and Bete & Bob (parents of the bride). The first of a 4 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing. Carolina did provide me with a playlist that included top 40, 90s and 2000s hip-hop, classic rock and alternative jams. Great mix of genres for this very upbeat/energetic group of guests. There was no garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting was held in private but the dance floor was the place to be. They danced the night away and as I played the last song which was Don't Stop Me Now by Queen all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the newlyweds.
Congrats to Carolina, Edward and the entire Drislane and Lee families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bonnet House for always providing excellent service.
