On June 30th at The Bonnet House in East Ft. Lauderdale is where Kevin and Margo O'connor celebrated their wedding outside in front of family and friends that have waited a long time for this special day. The bridal party and Margo walked down the aisle to Canon in D. Once the aunt of the bride pronounced them husband and wife, Everlasting Love was the recessional song as they danced back down the aisle as the brand new Mr. and Mrs. O'connor.
During cocktail hour I played smooth jazz, some sax music as guests enjoyed drinks in the courtyard of the historic Bonnet House.
Guests were then invited to the tent area where Royal Blue LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company highlighted the event as I prepared to introduce the newlyweds.
Kevin and Margo chose, I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney as the guests screamed for the long seven year wait for the newlyweds. The first dance was to It's Your Love by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw as I invited guests to join followed by the toasts.
The dinner station was opened and then the party got going with two hours of solid dancing. As the evening went on the guest dance to the suggested songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and the top 40. As well as line dances such as the Wobble, Cha Cha slide and Cotton Eye Joe.
The final songs of the evening were Journey and Dirty Dancing and Oh What a Night, as the evening was very successful as they danced all night and then the following day Morgan text me to thank me for a great evening. Congrats from DJ Marc Evans.
