Summer and Trip Jones celebrated their dream wedding at the Historical Bonnet House Museum in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/19/2024. The ceremony which was witnessed by approximately 100 guests, took place down at the grotto. The happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss then everyone was invited to the courtyard for the cocktail hour. A professional harpist provided the cocktail hour music while myself and Alberto decorated the reception tent area with 20, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram (with their initials) and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the reception tent and found their seats, I lined up the 25 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Summer chose Gimme Gimme by Abba as the intro song for the bridal party and Back on 74 by Jungle for her and Trip's intro. The first dance was to There We Are by James Taylor then Summer danced with her dad to Baby Don'y Cry by Jamie Johnson and Trip danced with his mom to You've Got A Friend by James Taylor. The toasts were given by Summer's mom and dad then by Lauren and Angelo. The buffet style dinner was ready for all to enjoy and the reception was under way. Trip did provide me with a playlist that included alternative dance tunes, top 40 club bangers and oldies. After dinner the dance floor filled up very quickly and it stayed that way until the cake cutting ceremony. Summer and Trip also surprised everyone with a dessert station and a LED Robot that danced along with everyone towards the end of the evening. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that got everyone to make a big circle around the happy couple to end the perfect evening.
Congrats to Summer, Trip and the entire Jones and Kellogg families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bonnet House for always providing extra special service.
