Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the WEDDING BLOG.
On Saturday, November 10th, I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Dara and Jay. They had their reception and party at the Brazilian Court in Palm Beach. This is an exclusive and boutique hotel. It was my first time playing there and it was very elegant.
I invited all of the guests to the main room. It was highlighted with our signature LED DANCE FLOOR and LED up lighting provided by Eddie B. & Company. It really looked spectacular!
The introductions went flawlessly. I played "Just A Groove " by Yazo for the bridal party as well as for Dara and Jay. Once they were in and on the dance floor, I asked everyone to stand up and watch, as Dara and Jay started their first dance "There Never Was A Time' was chosen and was professionally choreographed. It was a sight to see! Dara and Jay floated around the dance floor. It was truly a wonderful first dance. I then proceeded to invite ALL of the guests up for a celebration HORA! Wow! What a great time, All of the guests circled about and then we lifted Dara and Jay up in their chairs. The guests erupted in thunderous applause! I then asked all of the guests to find their seats.
Jay welcomed everyone to the party and stressed how happy he was to be at this event, and how special it is for him. Soon after, dinner was served. I played some classic tunes, and vocals. It went over great! During dinner, I invited Keith to do a toasts and dedication. I then invited Galia to do a special dance performance. It was a great way to end a wonderful meal. Shortly after that, I invited all of the guests to welcome the live band "Chill Factor". They were really tight. Playing a lot of disco and funk. Once they turned it back to me we really got the party started! Dara is an avid ZUMBA dancer and invited her instructor to come in and give a full dance class for everyone! The dance floor was packed. After the set, everyone was dripping with sweat! A real workout. I then turned it back over to the band to finish the evening. A great time for them and a great experience for me!
