Good Day Wedding Bloggers!
This past Saturday, February 27th, I had the pleasure of being the DJ and entertainment for Ali and Corey's wedding and reception.
The venue was the Breakers West Country Club. A beautiful location overlooking a lake and golf course.
As the guests arrived, I played some Neo-Classical music to signal that a classy ceremony was about to occur. The bridal party walked down and then Ali arrived. She looked great! I played "How long will I love you" by Ellie Goulding for everyone. Once the ceremony ended, I invited everyone into the foyer for drinks and small fare.
Once cocktail hour was over I invited the guests back into the main dining room. It was illuminated with Amber up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. I kept the bridal party outside and lined them up for the introductions. For that, I played "Bring Em Out" by T.I. This was really fun to watch! Every couple did a little skit as they entered. Some were more appropriate than others LOL!
Then I invited Ali and Corey to join us. I played GDFR by Flo Rida. The room erupted with applause as I set off the COLD SPARKS FOUNTAIN effect! It was provided by Eddie B & Company and really made a great impression on everyone.
Soon after that I played the first dance..."You make it Easy" by Jasomn Aldean. Then Ali danced with her dad. They chose "Half the Man" by Jennifer Smestad. Now it was Corey's turn to dance with his mom. They requested "My wish" by Rascall Flatts. I then invited all of the guests to dance along with them. It was a touching moment.
Now I asked everyone to take their seats and I proceeded to ask the parents to say a few words. Lots of laughter and tears!
Soon dinner was served. I played some cool tunes per the request of Ali and Corey. After dinner is when I turned up the heat. This was a young, dancing crowd and that is exactly what we did. We danced the rest of the evening! Our guests were really into hip hop, R&B and techno.
A great time for a great couple. Congratulations to Ali and Corey! See you on your 25th!
What a great party!
