Isis and Kevin Berthiaume celebrated their wedding on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/24/2015. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was provided by the venue so we were only hired for the 2 1/2 hour reception. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited to the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance as all of the guests found their seats. Isis chose Happy by Pharell for the entire bridal party entrance including her and Kevin's. The first dance was to At Last by Beyonce then Isis and Kevin combined a dance with their kids to Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Diana Ross. The toasts were given by Kevin's older son Jareb and by Isis's best friend Freeda right before a 4 station brunch buffet opened. Isis did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, oldies, salsa and Cuban classics. Most of the guests did find their way to the dance floor as the day progressed and were amazed by the delicious wedding cup cakes that Isis's friend Freeda made. The happy couple did not request a garter/bouquet toss but we did have an anniversary dance. For the closing songs I played I Just Called To Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder then Isis and Kevin danced in the middle as I played I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston as all of the remaining guests gave them a bubble send off. Nice touch to end a great wedding!! Congrats to Isis, Kevin and the entire Berthiaume family. Special thanks to the staff and management at the Performing Arts Center for always recommending Eddie B & Company.
