On Saturday April 12th, 2014 I was at the Bubble Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale for the first time playing for Kelly and Jacob Condell and 120 family members and friends. The ceremony music was provided by a string ensamble, I started with the cocktail hour and then introduced the bridal party to the "Rockafellar Skank", and the newlyweds to "Mahna Mahna" by Cake. Kelly and Jacob chose "Tighten Up" by the Black Keys for their very first dance as husband and wife. Then Kelly danced with her father Robert to "Fathers & Daughters" by Paul Simon, and Jacob danced with his mother to "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart. Dinner was served, followed by 5 toasts and then the dancing started! Eddie B & Company also provided Fuchsia LED up lighting, LED dance floor lights, and a "Strike A Pose" photo booth for everyone to enjoy. The music was a mix from the Top 40 club hits to some classic rock and 80's retro. The highlight of the evening is when Kelly and one of her brides maids took over the dance floor and put on a Hula Hoop show! You had to see this....AMAZING! The hoops were all lit up with L.E.D. lights and the patterns they made were incredible! It was a first for me, and the guests loved it! Later the cake was cut to "Under Pressure" by David Bowie and for the final song of the evening I played "Jammin" by Bob Marley! Kelly and Jacob will be honeymooning in Costa Rica....Congrats once again and all the best! DJ/MC Eddie B!
