Wedding Reception at the Chart House

Moira and Jeff Saunders celebrated their wedding at the Chart House in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/8/2014.  The ceremony took place at a church near by where approximately 180 friends and relatives witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  After the ceremony all of the guests drove to the Chart House or were shuttled over.  As all of the guests arrived they were invited to the cocktail hour which was extended to 2 hours.  There they enjoyed drinks and appetizers while Moira, Jeff and the bridal party headed to the beach for group pictures.   The Chart House is a restaurant right on the inter-coastal water ways so the inside was used for dancing and the tables were placed outside on the dock.  The place looked great and the inside of the restaurant was decorated with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As the bridal party arrived I lined everyone up for the grand entrance.  Moira chose Welcome to Miami by Will Smith for the bridal party and for her and Jeff's entrance.  The first dance was to Hey Pretty Girl by Kip Moore then Moira danced with her dad and Jeff danced with his mom to Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks.  Jeff's dad John Saunders gave a welcoming speech and Father Troy blessed the meal then the first of three courses was served.  Moira and Jeff did not provide me with a play list but after reading my reviews on the Wedding Wire they left it up to me for the dancing/fun.  I played a mix of top 40, country, latin, oldies, 80's and 90's rap. r&b, disco and funk.  They literally danced to every genre a threw at them.  One of the most energetic and fun crowds I have had this year so far.  There was no garter toss but Moira did have a bouquet toss and we performed the anniversary dance before they cut their beautiful wedding cake.  The last song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble and it seemed as all 180 guests were still there at the end.  Amazing/fun wedding for a great group!!!  Congrats to Moira, Jeff and the entire Hendrickson and Saunders families.  This was my first wedding at the Chart House and I hope we get to work together again...soon!!!  Great service all night long.
