Saturday evening May 30th at The Cheeca Lodge and Spa in Islamorada over looking the ocean is where the reception was held for Terry and Sarah Roche. I was set up under the tiki hut with dance floor lights that created a great party atmosphere. As I lined up the bridal party along with the Terry and Sarah, and introduced them all to Uptown Funk. The bride and groom then did the first dance to Shut Up and Dance and then at the close of the song, the bridal party joined them for the conclusion of the song. Following the intros, I introduced the Rev. as he proceeded to do the prayer before the meal and then salad was served. The toasts were made and then Sarah danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and then Terry danced with his mom to How Sweet It Is by Stevie Wonder. Dinner followed as I played Top 40 dinner music that was awesome apparently as people were dancing in there seats and a few asked me if I uploaded it to
spotfy...Funny!! It's all off the top of my head....
After the dinner was completed I rocked the party and even went a half hour overtime as Terry and Sarah danced to Top 40 music, Latin to include Salsa and Merengue. Line dances to the cupid shuffle, Electric slide and more. Motown and booty music were a big hit as they danced all night long on the sand at The Cheeca in Islamorada. The bride chose not to do and cake cutting or garter bouquet but they danced all night long.
The party concluded as invited all the guests to do a sparkler send off and as I was inviting them all to join Terry ad Sarah people were still dancing as someone said to me, stop playing good music and we will join the sparkler send off, Too Funny. The party went over tie and they danced under the stars and created memories that will last a lifetime with DJ Marc Evans....
