Wedding Reception at the Coconut Cove Resort

The wedding reception of Kristen and Garett Van Orman, on September 7 at Coconut Cove Resort, in Islamorada Florida, was an event for the records. On a picture perfect evening over 80 guests enjoyed cocktails and music to Steel drummer Bob Lyons. Afterwards, I kept the music uptempo and varied, which allowed all age groups to dance and groove to the sounds. We did introductions to "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Toasts were given by the Maids of Honor and Best Man. The Bride and Groom had their first dance  ocean side with all their guests on the beach. An amazing display of fireworks took place in the background to rousing applause! The Bride then had a special dance with her brother in law in Honor of her deceased father. Needless to say this was a touching and meaningful time of the evening.  After the Groom had his traditional dance with his Mom all guests danced almost continuously till midnight! Between Midnight and 1 AM guests gave requests and continued dancing till past 1AM. The evening ended with the playing of Carry Me Home Tonight (We Are Young).  The guests also enjoyed our "Strike A Pose" photo booth provided by Eddie B & Company! DJ/MC John Terry
