On Wednesday August 24th, 2011 I played for a destination wedding at the world famous Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada for Evelina and Bartosz Borkowski and 12 family members. This was a very unique wedding since the newlyweds came from New Jersey, and the family from Poland. The ceremony and cocktail reception music was provided by Steve Allerton, a harpist from Key West. I provided music for the reception. After everyone enjoyed a feast prepared by chef Peter, which included a roasted pig, lobster tails, mahi-mahi, carribean chicken, and all of the trimmings, and a toast by the brides father, Evelina & Bartosz danced to "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton for their first dance. Then I played a variety of American pop music and songs from their homeland which was provided to me on an i-pod. I enjoyed playing for this wedding because it was different in musical tastes and everyone had a truly great time at the resort. From the Keys the couple and family members were headed to South Beach, and then Disney before heading back to Jersey. I want to wish Evelina & Bartosz all the best and thank you for making me a part of your special day....DJ/MC Eddie B!
