Wedding Reception at the Coconut Cove Resort / Islamorada

Alanna and Chris Leijon celebrated their dream destination wedding at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada Key, FL on 6/1/2017.  The ceremony and cocktail hour music was provided by a steel drummer.  We were contracted for the 4 hour reception only.  As all of the guests were invited to the dining area I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Alanna chose All Night Long by Lionel Richie for the bridal party intros and Gold Digger by Kanye West for her and Chris' intros.  All of the tables were called to enjoy a buffet style dinner then Geoff (best man) and Kerry (maid of honor) gave the toasts.  After dinner the tiki dance floor (where I am set up) was the hot spot!!  Alana and Chris danced their first dance to Bright by Echosmith then Alanna danced with her dad to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins.  Chris did provide me with a play list that included top 40, hip-hop, r&b, EDM and alternative dance hits.  Perfect mix of genes for this fun bunch.  We did perform the bouquet toss (no garter) and the happy couple did take the time to cut the beautiful wedding cake.  One of the last songs for the evening was a special request from Chris which was Becky by Plies.  Congrats to Alanna, Chris and the entire Leijon and Duncan families.
