Mr and Mrs Roy Geer and 100 guests enjoyed the Wedding and Reception held at beautiful Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada. First, I'd like to congratulate Mr. Paul Bates and the Coconut Cove Resort for their exhaustive dedication and perseverance in preparing the resort after Hurricane Irma. The resort looked as beautiful as ever and this set the table for a wonderful evening!
After cocktail hour, the Wedding Party were introduced to the song Apache. Then, the Bride and Groom, Roy and Amanda, were introduced to Danza Kuduro whilst the guests applauded and cheered. After dinner there were five individual toasts proposed to the Bride and Groom. The toasts were followed by the ceremonial first dance which Roy and Amanda had a rehearsed routine to the songs First Day Of My Life followed by Suavemente. Coconut Cove then set off a dazzling Fireworks display at Oceanside with a full moon backdrop. Later in the evening the Bride danced with her dad. Simultaneously, the Groom and his mom danced to the song You Are The Sunshine Of My Life. With the exception of the Cake Cutting which was to the song Cake By The Ocean, It was non stop dancing till Midnight.
The last half hour was what I refer to as "The Grand Finale" which is a medley of high energy songs which I invite everyone to dance in tribute to the Bride and Groom. The evening ended on this high note with the ending song being Time Of My LIfe by Pit Bull and almost every guest danced, cheered and surrounded the Bride and Groom, Roy and Amanda Geer!
