Wedding Reception at the Coconut Cove Resort / Islamorada

Kristen and Jeffrey Wells celebrated their wedding at the Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada Key, FL on 3/30/2018.  This amazing wedding began with a beach ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the tiki bar for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and posed for pictures on the beach.  After the cocktail hour all of the guests found their seats as I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Kristen chose Starships by Nikki Minaj for the bridal party intro and Hella Good by No Doubt for her and Jeffrey's intro.  The first dance was to Crazy Love by Van Morrison then Kerry (maid of honor) and Mike (best man) gave the toasts before all of the guests were invited to a buffet style dinner.  Kristen did not give me a play list but did ask me to play to her guests and to have fun.  I played a mix of top 40, country, classic rock and Motown.  Perfect selections for this fun group of guests.  There was no parents dances or garter/bouquet toss but they did take the time cut their beautiful wedding cake.  The closing song for the evening was What A Wonderful World by L. Armstrong and that put a bow on a great Friday night keys wedding.  Congrats to Kristen, Jeffrey and the entire Wells and Fox families.
