Wedding & Reception at the Colonnade Hotel

Casey and Stephen Koehler celebrated their wedding at the Hotel Colonnade in Miami, FL on 5/14/2022.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the 150 guests were invited to the Colonnade for the cocktail hour and the reception.  As I played a mix of latin jazz tunes at the cocktail hour, myself and Matt took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a customized monogram and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Casey chose Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen for the bridal party intros and Love On Top by Beyonce for her and Stephen's intro.  The first dance was to Loving You Easy by Zach Brown Band then Casey danced with her dad to Today by Brad Paisley and Stephen danced with his mom to A Whole New World by Aladdin Soundtrack.  The toasts were given by Riley and Bailey (maids of honor) and by Alex and Carl (best men) then Casey's dad Mr. Mullins gave the welcoming speech.  All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Casey did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 90s and 2000s dance hits and current house.  The mix of genres were perfect for this very fun group of guests.  There was no garter/bouquet toss and a private cake cutting as the evening progressed.  The fun started when Casey's dad asked to sing Sweet Caroline and that had everyone on the dance floor singing along with dad.  As the evening came to a close I played Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a sweet Saturday night Miami style wedding.
