Adriana and Mike Marcelino celebrated their wedding at the Crystal Ballroom in Ft. Lauderale, FL on 2/3/2024. The indoor ceremony was witnessed by approximately 130 guests then everyone was invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of latin jazz while everyone mingled and posed for pictures with the happy couple. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 22 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Adriana chose I Gotta Feeling by The B.E.P. for the bridal party intros and Forever by C. Brown for her and Mike's intro. The first dance was to Die A Happy Man by Thomas Rhett then Adriana danced with her dad to Solo Importa Tu by Franco De Vita and Mike danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Adriana did provide me with a play list but she also requested that I play to the crowd and to have fun. Well that's exactly what I did that amazing night!! I played a mix of latin favorites, top 40, old school hip-hop and 90s r&b...amazing mix of genres for this energized group of guests. The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed along with the traditional Jewish Hora, all 14 minutes of it...lol. We did last call at about 12:30 then all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor for the last dance...my all time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra!!
Congrats to Adriana, Mike and the entire Marcelino and Villegas families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Crystal Ballroom for always providing 5 star service.
