Wedding & Reception at the Dalmar Hotel

Morgan & Andrew Ivins celebrated their wedding at the Dalmar Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/10/2023.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour on the 6th floor by the pool deck.  Approximately 120 guests witnessed a beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  Morgan and Andrew posed for pictures with immediate family members while I played a mix of tropical tunes.  Myself and Brandon also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests found their seats at the reception ballroom I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance.   Morgan chose Levels by Avicii for the bridal party intro and Knock Knock by Mac Miller for her and Andrew's intro.  The first dance was to Beyond by Leon Bridges then Morgan danced with her dad to The Way You Look Tonight by T. Bennett and Andrew danced with his mom to Son Of A Sailor by J. Buffett.  The blessing of the meal was given by Morgan's dad Mr. Shattuck then Lauren (MOH) and Issac (BM) gave the toasts.  The first of a 3 course meal was served and the reception was in full swing.  Morgan did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 90s dance hits, 2000s hip-hop and latin favorites for all to enjoy.  What a great mix of genres that had the guests on the dance floor all night long.  The cake cutting (no garter/bouquet toss) was performed as the evening progressed and I also took requests for some line dancing classics.  The closing song for the evening was You Get What You Give by New Radicals as everyone gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple.
