Wedding Reception at the Davis Island Garden Club / Tampa

Melissa and Cesar Cruz celebrated their wedding at the Davis Island Garden Club in Tampa, FL on 11/17/2018.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony where approximately 130 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  The cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony and as everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes.  I also took the time to decorate the outdoor reception area with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests found their seats I lined up the 20 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Melissa chose La Gozadera by Gente De Zona for the bridal party intros and Feel This Moment by Christina Aguilera for her and Cesar's intro.  The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Melisa danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by B. Carlisle and Cesar danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by L. Womack.  The toasts were given by Raquel (maid of honor) and Alfredo (best man) then Melissa's dad gave a welcoming speech.  Melissa did not provide me with a play list but did ask me to have fun and pack the dance floor.  This was one of those weddings that we call BANGERS!!  Non-stop energy from beginning to end.  The cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed along with a few group dances.  The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic as everyone gathered on the dance floor for a sparkler send off.  Congrats to Melissa, Cesar and the entire Cruz and Rosario families.
