Wedding Reception at the Deer Creek Golf Club

Kelly and Luis Moreno celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek C.C. in Deerfield Beach, FL on 11/15/2013.  The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour were provided by a live musician who is a friend of the bride and groom.  We were only hired for the reception.  Kelly and Luis chose the 4 hour "Classic Package" with Eddie B & Company which includes 20-24 LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights.  The color for the up-lights that evening was lavender which matched perfect with the center-pieces.  As all of the guests were invited into the main ballroom, I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance.  Kelly selected I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party and for her and Luis's entrance.  Kelly and Luis went right into their first dance which was When I Say I Do by Matthew West then Kelly danced with her dad to Mi Nina Bonita by Ismael Miranda and Luis dance with Kelly's mom to Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole.  Before the toasts and prayers, Kelly requested that I play a few latin tunes for everyone to get on the dance floor.  It was a quick 15 minute set but it was fun.  Ingrid (maid of honor) and Jaime (best man) gave the toasts then Luis said a prayer before the meals.  There were approximately 60 guests that eventually found their seats and enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal.  Kelly and Luis did provide me with a play list that included salsa, bachata, merengue, top 40, reggaeton and 80's and 90's dance hits.  Most of the guests were latin and loved to dance so the dance floor was hot all night.  The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss were performed as everyone enjoyed the specialty songs I played then it was back to the dance floor.  All in all everyone seemed to have an amazing time and really turned it on at the end when I played No Hay Cama 'Pa Tanta Gente by El Gran Combo as the last song.  Perfect ending to a perfect wedding!!!  Congrats to Kelly, Luis and the entire Moreno, Rodriguez and Nieves families.  Deer Creek C.C. is like our home away from home.  Thanks Lisa...your staff is excellent.  See you guys next week for another fun wedding!!!
