On Saturday, May 21st, 2011 I played for Jacqueline and Omar Ramsay and 140 friends and family members at the Delray Beach Golf Club. WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! What a party this was. The evening started with a cocktail reception and music provided by a jazz trio. Then I introduced the bridal party to a classic song from 1999, "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai. The guests were cheering and clapping as the bridal party boogied into the reception room which was glowing in a hot rich pink color from uplighting provided by Eddie B & Company. The first dance was "Quando, Quando, Quando" by Michael Buble and Nelly Furtado. This brought everyone to their feet because Jacqueline and Omar had a choregraphed presentation. After a few toasts and a delicious dinner stations buffet, I presented the father/daughter dance which was "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel, and then the mother /son dance which was "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" by Stevie Wonder. Then the real party started! From 8 PM until 11:30 PM this dance floor did not empty!!!! I played Socca, Calypso, Reggae, Salsa, Merengue, 70' & 80's retro and the top club hits of today! This group was AWESOME. I could not believe the energy that was in the room this night, it reminded me of the days when I played in the night club's. We ended the night with "Dirty Bit" by the B.E.P. I want to sincerely thank Jacqueline & Omar for making me a part of their special day....This one I will remember.....DJ/MC Eddie B!
