Wedding Reception at the Diplomat Hotel
On Saturday December 13th, 2014 I was at the Diplomat Hotel for Mariel & Eric Karlin and 140 friends and family members. Eddie B & Company provided steel drum entertainment for cocktail hour and Royal Blue LED up lighting for the reception. I introduced the newlyweds to "Happy" by Pharrell and they went right into their first dance which was "Lucky" by Mraz & Caillat. Next up was dinner and a few toasts followed by an 2.5 hours of Non Stop dancing. This group came to party as I hammered them with nothing but Top 40 dance music from the last few years. It was like a club scene because this is what Mariel & Eric wanted....a Celebration! There was a cake cutting to "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder. The closing songs were "New York New York" and finally "One More Time" by Daft Punk. I enjoyed playing for this wedding. Thank you Mariel & Eric....al the best to both of you! Eddie B!
