Jessica and Nick Clough celebrated their wedding reception at the Double Tree by Hilton in Sunny Isles FL on 10/24/2013. The ceremony took place at a church near by and the cocktail hour was held in the lobby of the hotel. We were only hired for the 4 hour reception. Approximately 30 close friends and family members made their way up to the 8th floor from the lobby to the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. As all of the guests found their seats, I lined up the bridal party for the intros. Jessica chose Forever by Chris Brown for the bridal party and for her and Nick's intros. They went right into the first dance which was Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden. During the first dance Nick asked his daughter and step-daughter to join him on the dance floor. Soon after Jessica danced with her dad to What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. I was not provided with a play list but I did take requests and played to the crowd. I played a mix of salsa, merengue, top 40, disco, classic rock and bachata. After the meals the dance floor opened up for dancing and fun. The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss was presented after a solid hour of dancing then it was back to the dance floor. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic as all of the guests gave Jessica and Nick a group hug!!! Congrats to Jessica, Nick and the entire Clough families. Also a special thanks to Cindy and her amazing staff at the Double Tree…always top notch!!!!
