Good Day Wedding Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with a great tale to tell.
I was honored to be the DJ for Paul and Tiffany. The event was held at the Doubletree Sunny Isles.
The ceremony was held on the terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was a beautiful day, not too much wind.
Perfect for a wedding.
It was a very spiritual service. A breath of fresh air.
After the nuptials, I proceeded to play background music for the cocktail hour. Our hosts requested Rat Pack style, Frankie, Dino, Tony and the rest of the Smooth Sounds gang.
After this we brought them to the main ballroom.
I want to mention that this was a very special event. In all of the years that I have been a DJ, I have never had the pleasure of hosting an event of this size. There were only 15 guests at the event!
This was on purpose...Paul and Tiffany live in Texas. The rest of the friends and family came from all over the world! A true destination wedding.
Now, being an intimate event brings some unique challenges. Like, how do you keep the dance floor packed! Well, our hosts were more interested in mingling and having fun in other ways. They supplied me with trivia games about the bride and groom. It was great fun! A refreshing difference to the typical wedding reception.
We did all of the "Traditional" items too. The first dance, Parent dances, Toasts, etc, but the main focus was just hanging out and having a wonderful time with friends and family.
And that is exactly what they did!
Congrats to Paul and Tiffany!
Enjoy your honeymoon in St. Thomas
