Wedding Reception at the Embassy Suites / Deerfield Beach

On Saturday August 4th, 2012 I played for Jessica and Eric Goepfert at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Deerfield Beach. The evening started out with a ceremony on the board walk. I provided a PA system for the officiant, and the music was played live by a guitar player. The cocktail reception was held on the outside patio of the hotel and the reception was in the ballroom. I introduced the bridal party to "I Got A Feeling" and the newlyweds made their entrance to "Beautiful Day" by U2. The first dance was "Fade Into You" by Mazzy Star. The room was glowing with a combination of royal blue and cyan blue up lighting provided by Eddie B & Company. Jessica and Eric wanted to have that ocean color around the room since they were headed to Bonaire and Curacel for their honeymoon to do some scuba diving. Later Jessica danced with her father to "Over the Rainbow" and Eric danced with his mother to "Forever Young". The music format was everything from Dion and the Beatles to Pitbull, LMFAO, and Rihanna. I also mixed in a few Merengue tunes and a few Country songs. The cake was cut to the classic Sonny & Cher song, "I Got You Babe". I ended the evening by request, with "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Once again hats off to Alicia and her staff at the Embassy Suites for their hospitality! I want to wish Jessica & Eric all the best and enjoy their dives in Bonaire.......DJ/MC Eddie B!
